Gebruik:

To analyse the research energy poverty in the region of Groningen we want to use the WoON data to estimate the living situation in our area and to identify households that possibly fall into energy poverty. Once we identified these households, we want to build a model that allows to simulate different support mechanisms to help these people.

Impact:

This data gives us a clearer picture of which households might fall into energy poverty. Thus it will allow us to help people at risk to fall into energy poverty and to model different measurements schemes against energy poverty.

We need data found some data on https://groningen.buurtmonitor.nl/

Waarom is deze data niet geschikt/voldoende?:

We find data on e.g. the WOZ Waarde, energy labels of houses and income (all relevant to indicate energy poverty). But those data points are not connected. So we know how many houses have a certain WOZ, energy label or income but we don't know which houses have a low WOZ AND a bad energy label AND low income (which would indicate energy poverty risks). The WoON data set would help us to get an estimation on the distribution (maybe with other indicators as the ones mentioned above).
