Covid-19 setting van mogelijke besmetting van personen met een positieve testuitslag voor SARS-CoV-2 per veiligheidsregio en publicatiedatum

Vanaf 6 juli 2022 wordt door de GGD een aangepaste set vragen gesteld bij personen met een positieve testuitslag voor SARS-CoV-2. Onder andere wordt de setting van mogelijke besmetting dan niet meer uitgevraagd. Hierdoor wordt deze data vanaf dat moment niet meer bijgewerkt.

Dit bestand bevat de volgende aantallen:

• (aantal nieuw gemelde) positief geteste personen
• (aantal nieuw gemelde) positief geteste personen waarvoor mogelijke setting(s) van besmetting zijn gemeld
• (aantal nieuw gemelde) positief geteste personen naar mogelijke setting van besmetting naar veiligheidsregio, per datum waarop de meldingen zijn gepubliceerd door het RIVM. De aantallen betreffen COVID-19 meldingen vanaf 14 december 2020. Vanaf deze datum zijn data beschikbaar over de capaciteit van de GGD’en om bron en contact onderzoek uit te voeren. Aantallen worden alleen getoond wanneer de dekkingsgraad en compleetheid van bron- en contactonderzoek hoog is omdat de aantallen dan het meest volledig zijn.

Het bestand is als volgt opgebouwd:

• Een record per mogelijke setting van besmetting voor elke veiligheidsregio van Nederland per datum waarvoor het aantal meldingen boven de nul was. Dit bestand wordt elke dag geüpdatet maar alleen gegevens van volledig afgeronde isoweken worden weergegeven. Op de woensdag wordt een nieuwe week in zijn geheel aan het bestand toegevoegd.

Beschrijving van de variabelen: Version: versienummer van de dataset. Wanneer de inhoud van de dataset structureel word gewijzigd (dus niet de dagelijkse update of een correctie op record niveau) , zal het versienummer aangepast worden (+1) en ook de corresponderende metadata in RIVM data (https://data.rivm.nl). Versie 2 update (10 juni 2021):

• De gevallen met setting “hospice” zijn vanaf 10 juni 2021 met terugwerkend kracht bij de setting “verpleeghuis of woonzorgcentrum voor ouderen” gezet.
• Vanaf 10 juni 2021 wordt bij positief geteste personen die mogelijk op een plek zijn besmet waar zij zelf medewerker zijn, zowel de werkplek als de setting “werksituatie” automatisch toegevoegd. Ter illustratie: Voor basisschoolleraren met een mogelijke bron van besmetting in de werksituatie kon voorheen al de setting “school en kinderopvang” opgegeven worden en / of de setting “werksituatie”. Nu worden beide settings automatisch opgenomen. Indien iemands werkplek niet voorkomt in de lijst van settings, wordt alleen de overkoepelende setting-categorie “werksituatie” opgenomen. De frequentie van de overkoepelende setting “werksituatie” zal hierdoor waarschijnlijk hoger zijn vanaf 10 juni 2021 dan voorheen. Versie 3 update (17 november 2021):
• Tot 17 november waren de variabelen [Total_reported], [Reports_with_settings], [Setting_reported] en [Number_settings_reported] alleen getoond wanneer [Source_and_contact_tracing_phase] “high” was. Vanaf [Date_of_report] 17 november 2021, voor [Date_of_publication] vanaf 8 november 2021, worden deze variabelen daarnaast getoond wanneer [Source_and_contact_tracing_phase] “medium” is. Versie 4 update (8 februari 2022)
• Vanaf 8 februari 2022 worden de positieve SARS-CoV-2 testuitslagen rechtstreeks vanuit CoronIT aan het RIVM gemeld. Ook worden de testuitslagen van andere testaanbieders (zoals Testen voor Toegang) en zorginstellingen (zoals ziekenhuizen, verpleeghuizen en huisartsen) die hun positieve SARS-CoV-2 testuitslagen via het Meldportaal van GGD GHOR invoeren rechtstreeks aan het RIVM gemeld. Meldingen die onderdeel zijn van de bron- en contactonderzoek steekproef en positieve SARS-CoV-2 testuitslagen van zorginstellingen die via zorgmail aan de GGD worden gemeld worden wel via HPZone aan het RIVM gemeld. Vanaf 8 februari wordt de datum van de positieve testuitslag gebruikt en niet meer de datum van melding aan de GGD. Versie 5 update (24 maart 2022):
• In versie 5 van deze dataset zijn records samengesteld volgens de gemeente herindeling van 24 maart 2022. Zie beschrijving van de variabele Security_region_code voor meer informatie.

Date_of_report: Datum en tijd waarop het databestand is aangemaakt door het RIVM.

Date_of_publication: Datum waarop de meldingen zijn gepubliceerd door het RIVM.

Security_region_code: Veiligheidsregio gebaseerd op de woonplaats van de positief geteste persoon. Indien de woonplaats niet bekend is, wordt Veiligheidsregio gebaseerd op de GGD die de melding heeft gedaan, behalve voor Veiligheidsregio Midden- en West-Brabant en Brabant-Noord aangezien voor deze regio’s GGD en Veiligheidsregio niet vergelijkbaar zijn. Gemeente Weesp is opgegaan in gemeente Amsterdam. Met deze indeling is de veiligheidsregio Gooi- en Vechtstreek kleiner geworden en de veiligheidsregio Amsterdam-Amstelland groter; GGD Amsterdam is groter geworden en GGD Gooi- en Vechtstreek is kleiner geworden (https://www.cbs.nl/nl-nl/onze-diensten/methoden/classificaties/overig/gemeentelijke-indelingen-per-jaar/indeling-per-jaar/gemeentelijke-indeling-op-1-januari-2022).

Source_and_contact_tracing_phase: De dekkingsgraad en compleetheid van bron- en contactonderzoek (verder BCO fase genoemd) per veiligheidsregio per isoweek (maandag t/m zondag): hoog (high), beperkt (medium) of laag (low). De BCO fase wordt gerapporteerd als de laagste BCO fase van de week per veiligheidsregio. Het RIVM ontvangt de BCO fase per GGD per week. Deze informatie wordt vervolgens gekoppeld aan COVID-19 meldingen op basis van de GGD waar de positief geteste persoon woont. De meeste veiligheidsregio’s komen overeen met het werkgebied van een GGD, behalve Veiligheidsregio Midden- en West-Brabant (werkgebied in GGD West-Brabant en GGD Hart voor Brabant). Indien de BCO fase in een week verschilt tussen deze twee GGD’en, dan wordt de laagste BCO fase van de twee GGD’en in dit bestand voor deze veiligheidsregio gerapporteerd. Als de BCO fase voor bepaalde GGD’en niet aan het RIVM geleverd is wordt “missing” ingevuld. De BCO fases worden als volgt omschreven: High In deze regio wordt regulier bron- en contactonderzoek (BCO) uitgevoerd, met of zonder monitoring. De registratie en analyse van settings van besmettingen is volledig. Medium In deze regio wordt risicogestuurd BCO uitgevoerd vanwege de hoge aantallen positief geteste mensen. De registratie en analyse van settings van besmettingen is niet volledig. Low Door de bijzonder hoge aantallen positief geteste mensen is de druk op BCO in deze regio zeer hoog. De positieve uitslag wordt altijd doorgegeven aan de persoon die besmet is. BCO vindt beperkt plaats. De registratie en analyse van settings van besmettingen is niet volledig. Hierdoor kan deze informatie niet op geaggregeerd niveau worden weergegeven.

Total_reported: Het aantal nieuwe aan de GGD’en gemelde personen met een positieve testuitslag voor SARS-CoV-2 dat op [Date_of_publication] is gepubliceerd door het RIVM. Aantallen worden getoond wanneer [Source_and_contact_tracing_phase] “high” is en vanaf [Date_of_publication] 8 november 2021 ook wanneer [Source_and_contact_tracing_phase] “medium” is. Onderdrukte getallen worden vervangen door het getal “-9999”. Het werkelijke aantal besmette personen is hoger dan het aantal meldingen in de surveillance omdat niet iedereen met mogelijke besmetting getest wordt. Let op: de aantallen in deze kolom kunnen niet zonder meer worden opgeteld, omdat deze voor alle type settings gemeld binnen een veiligheidsregio op een dag worden herhaald. Als er binnen een veiligheidsregio op een dag geen settings zijn vermeld, wordt er voor deze veiligheidsregio voor deze dag geen record opgenomen in dit bestand. Voor de totalen per veiligheidsregio gebruik het bestand “COVID-19_aantallen_gemeente_per_dag”.

Reports_with_settings: Het aantal nieuwe aan de GGD’en gemelde personen met een positieve testuitslag voor SARS-CoV-2 dat op [Date_of_publication] is gepubliceerd door het RIVM waarvoor mogelijke setting(s) van besmetting en gerelateerde gevallen zijn gemeld. Aantallen worden getoond wanneer [Source_and_contact_tracing_phase] “high” is en vanaf [Date_of_publication] 8 november 2021 ook wanneer [Source_and_contact_tracing_phase] “medium” is. Onderdrukte getallen worden vervangen door het getal “-9999”. Het werkelijke aantal positief geteste personen met gerelateerde gevallen is hoger dan het aantal meldingen in de surveillance. Number_settings_reported: Het aantal nieuwe aan de GGD’en gemelde personen met een positieve testuitslag voor SARS-CoV-2 dat op [Date_of_publication] is gepubliceerd door het RIVM waarvoor de setting van mogelijke besmetting is vermeld als [Settings_reported]. Aantallen worden getoond wanneer [Source_and_contact_tracing_phase] “high” is en vanaf [Date_of_publication] 8 november 2021 ook wanneer [Source_and_contact_tracing_phase] “medium” is. Onderdrukte getallen worden vervangen door het getal “-9999”. Per positieve COVID-19 melding is elk type setting binair (true/false) maar er kunnen meerdere type settings per melding worden geregistreerd. Daarom is deze kolom niet optelbaar naar het aantal meldingen. Bijvoorbeeld, bij een positief getest persoon waarbij er twee mogelijke settings van besmetting zijn, zijn deze beide vermeld (“true”). Daarnaast is een setting een categorie en geen specifieke locatie. Meldingen met eenzelfde setting kunnen betrekking hebben op eenzelfde locatie, maar dat hoeft niet. Het aantal gerapporteerde settings kan niet geïnterpreteerd worden als het aantal locaties waar besmettingen plaatsvonden. Binnen veiligheidsregio’s kunnen er meerdere locaties van dezelfde setting van mogelijke besmetting zijn. Het werkelijke aantal positief geteste personen met gerelateerde gevallen is hoger dan het aantal meldingen in de surveillance. Daarnaast is niet voor iedere werkelijk gerelateerde positief geteste personen de relatie of setting van besmetting bekend bij zowel de GGD als bij de positief geteste persoon zelf.

Covid-19 possible setting of transmission for persons with a positive test result for SARS-CoV-2, per security region and publication date

From July 6, 2022, the PHS will ask a modified set of questions to people with a positive test result for SARS-CoV-2. Among other things, the possible setting of transmission will then no longer be requested. As a result, this data will no longer be updated from that moment on.

This file contains the following numbers:

• Number of newly reported positively tested persons
• Number of newly reported positively tested persons for whom possible setting(s) of transmission have been reported -Number of newly reported positively tested persons by possible setting of infection by security region, as of the date on which the reports were published by the RIVM. The numbers concern COVID-19 reports from December 14, 2020. From this date, data is available about the capacity of the PHSs to conduct source and contact tracing. Numbers are only shown when the coverage and completeness of source and contact tracing is high, because the numbers are then most complete.

The file is structured as follows:

• A record per possible setting of contamination for each security region of the Netherlands per date for which the number of reports was above zero. This file is updated every day but only data from fully completed iso weeks is displayed. On Wednesday, a new week is added to the file in its entirety.

Description of the variables: Version: version number of the dataset. When the content of the dataset is structurally changed (so not the daily update or a correction at record level), the version number will be adjusted (+1) and also the corresponding metadata in RIVM data (https://data.rivm.nl). Version 2 update (June 10, 2021):

• The cases with the “hospice” setting have been retroactively assigned to the “nursing home or residential care center for the elderly” from 10 June 2021.
• From 10 June 2021, for persons who have tested positive and who may have been infected in a place where they are an employee, both the workplace and the setting “work situation” will be added automatically. By way of illustration: For primary school teachers with a possible source of contamination in the work situation, the setting “school and childcare” could previously be specified and / or the setting “work situation”. Now both settings are automatically recorded. If someone's workplace does not appear in the list of settings, only the overarching setting category “work situation” is included. • From 8 February 2022, positive SARS-CoV-2 test results will be reported directly from CoronIT to the RIVM. The test results of other test providers (such as Testing for Access) and healthcare institutions (such as hospitals, nursing homes and general practitioners) that enter their positive SARS-CoV-2 test results via the Meldportaal of GGD GHOR are also reported directly to the RIVM. Reports that are part of the source and contact investigation sample and positive SARS-CoV-2 test results from healthcare institutions that are reported to the PHS via healthcare email are reported to the RIVM via HPZone. From 8 February, the date of the positive test result is used and no longer the date of notification to the PHS. Version 5 update (March 24, 2022):

Date_of_report: Date and time on which the data file was created by the RIVM.

Date_of_publication: Date on which the reports were published by the RIVM.

Security_region_code: Security region based on the place of residence of the positively tested person. If the place of residence is not known, the Security Region is based on the PHS that submitted the report, except for the Midden- and West Brabant Security Region and Brabant-Noord, since the PHS and Security Region are not comparable for these regions. Source_and_contact_tracing_phase: The degree of coverage and completeness of source and contact tracing (hereinafter referred to as BCO (bron and contactonderzoek) phase) per security region per isoweek (Monday to Sunday): high (high), limited (medium) or low (low). The BCO phase is reported as the lowest BCO phase of the week per security region. The RIVM receives the BCO phase per GGD per week. This information is then linked to COVID-19 reports based on the GGD where the positively tested person lives. Most security regions correspond to the work area of a GGD, except for the Midden- and West-Brabant Security Region (working area in GGD West Brabant and GGD Hart voor Brabant). If the BCO phase differs in a week between these two GGDs, then the lowest BCO phase of the two GGDs in this file for this security region is reported. If the BCO phase for certain GGDs has not been delivered to the RIVM, “missing” is entered. The BCO phases are described as follows: High Regular source and contact tracing (BCO) is carried out in this region, with or without monitoring. Please note: the numbers in this column cannot simply be added up, because they are repeated on a single day for all types of settings reported within a security region. If no settings are specified within a security region on a day, no record will be included in this file for this security region for this day. For the totals per security region, use the file “COVID-19_aantallen_gemeente_per_dag”.

Reports_with_settings: The number of new persons reported to the PHSs with a positive test result for SARS-CoV-2 published on [Date_of_publication] by the RIVM for whom possible setting(s) of transmission and related cases have been reported. Numbers are shown when [Source_and_contact_tracing_phase] is “high” and from [Date_of_publication] November 8, 2021 also when [Source_and_contact_tracing_phase] is “medium”. Suppressed numbers are replaced by the number “-9999”. The actual number of people who tested positive with related cases is higher than the number of reports in surveillance. In addition, the GGD is not aware of the relationship with another infection or the setting of infection for every positively tested person. Please note: the numbers in this column cannot simply be added up, because they are repeated on a single day for all types of settings reported within a security region.

Setting_reported: Reported possible setting of transmission for persons reported to the GGDs with a positive test result for SARS-CoV-2 with related cases. The reported settings have been translated and coded in this dataset according to the following scheme:

• Home situation (housemates including non-cohabiting partner) - home
• Visit in the home situation (from or with family, friends, etc.) - visit

Number_settings_reported: The number of new persons reported to the PHSs with a positive test result for SARS-CoV-2 published on [Date_of_publication] by the RIVM for which the setting of possible infection is stated as [Settings_reported]. Numbers are shown when [Source_and_contact_tracing_phase] is “high” and from [Date_of_publication] November 8, 2021 also when [Source_and_contact_tracing_phase] is “medium”. Suppressed numbers are replaced by the number “-9999”. For each positive COVID-19 report, each type of setting is binary (true/false), but multiple types of settings can be registered per report. Therefore, this column cannot be added to the number of reports. For example, in a positive person who has two possible settings of infection, both are stated (“true”). In addition, a setting is a category and not a specific location. Reports with the same setting can relate to the same location, but this is not necessary. The number of reported settings cannot be interpreted as the number of locations where infections took place. Within security regions there may be several locations of the same setting of possible transmission. The actual number of people who tested positive with related cases is higher than the number of reports in surveillance. In addition, the relationship or setting of infection is not known to both the GGD and the positively tested person for every actually related positively tested person.
