- My research is about costs for criminal justice services that are relevant for mental health patients and should be included in health economic evaluations in the future. For this concern I have a data request where you maybe could help me. For the criminal justices costs I need to calculate how much a police contact in the Netherlands costs. As I was not able to find any data so far you maybe can provide the following information:
- How many contacts does the police have with the population? (face-to-face encounter between person and police for example at home, in the community or in the police department, whereby emergency phone calls under 112 are excluded)
- How long does an average police contact last?
- Total hours worked by the police per year
- Total police costs per year If you have any more data or ideas that might be useful for calculating the costs per police contact in the Netherlands I'd be glad about your help.
