- I am looking for data on the effects of the ban of provision-based financial consultation. The letter from the Ministry of Finance to the Speaker of the House (Date: 24.01.2018; Dossiernummer: 32545) references two studies from the 'Instituut voor dataverzameling en onderzoek' and 'Decisio'. I would like to have access to the database for both studies. Thank you very much!

- The data will be used for my Master's Thesis on the effects of transparent financial consultation on contracting and welfare. In a second step, I plan to publish the results from this study.
- Impact:
- Given that the advisory costs are (mostly) hidden in provision-based financial consulting, I want to analyze the effect of a ban on provision-based financial consulting. The Netherlands are prime example because provision-based financial consulting was banned in 2013 and 2014, respectively. Having access to the databases allows for the effects of this ban and to analyse whether it could be a best-practice for other European countries.
