- Gedetailleerde industry/sector level electricity inputs/use data
- Requested data:
- I am looking for European data on electricity consumption per industry at a relatively detailed industry classification (preferably NACE or ISIC at a 4-digit level). If possible a time series of this data with year, country, industry datapoints would be perfect, but otherwise an average for the whole eu or an average over a time period would also be fine. My main challenge is finding data at a detailed enough industry classification level, so that has priority.

- I'm working on my master's thesis at the TU Delft on the topic: "Does the EU ETS cause carbon leakage" which I aim to investigate by performing an econometric regression analysis. I use international trade data combined with EUTL emissions and EUETS compliance data to find out whether the EU ETS caused exports to go down and imports to go up. I need the electricity input data per sector to determine the indirect cost of the EU ETS in electricity inputs per sector.

- Without the data I have less reliable results in my thesis.
