Requested data:
Hi, I want to obtain dataset that has stored the area size of postalcodes (for example it could be in m2 or km2). It would be preferable to have this information regarding how big a postcode is (in terms of area size). The information can be at any postcode level. But it is preferable if it is at 4-digit level. I want these information for my Masters thesis which I am currently doing. I am not able to find this information on this website or on CBS.

I have searched with search terms such as 'area postalcode' and went throught many search results, but could not find it.

Explanation status:
Statistics Netherlands publishes various statistical data concerning postal code areas: https://www.cbs.nl/nl-nl/dossier/nederland-regionaal/geografische-data/gegevens-per-postcode . Unfortunately these data don't have the surface of the postal code areas, but the user can calculate this with help of a GIS programme such as ArcGis or the free QGis. See for example https://docs.qgis.org/2.8/en/docs/user_manual/working_with_vector/field_calculator.html for an explanation about this.
